This is where the fun and the learning reach their heights. What do you remember about your junior high sciences? Chances are, it’s something you did in the laboratory. Now imagine that everything you learned was reinforced through a laboratory activity. That’s what our courses do.

The labs are written to the kids in a conversational, fun-loving tone. They use simple, practical methods of demonstrating and reinforcing the concepts from the textbook in a way that’s affordable and safe for the home environment. While learning, your kids will improve their manual dexterity and develop good scientific-laboratory practices—from the time they put on their “silly-looking glasses” to the time they clean-up after themselves.

The Home Laboratory workbook is spiral bound, black and white, 89-pages (115-page for Year 2) in 8-1/2 × 11 inch format, with nice full-color covers. The workbook is printed on heavy, bright-white paper for durability and legibility under many different indoor and outdoor laboratory situations. The spiral binding allows it to lie flat on the table and to double back on itself for use a as a field notebook during outdoor labs.
